Natuurlijke Transparantie (2020)


Natuurlijke Transparantie is an extension of Annelieke Rovers graduation project Natuurlijke Separatie, which explores the relationship between humans and nature and addresses the growing division between ourselves and the natural world.

Objects collected from the natural surroundings of the site where Natuurlijke Separatie was displayed have been transformed into glass sculptures. In her exploration of glass as a medium, she became captivated by its transformative properties and its ability to refract and bend light.

Natuurlijke Transparantie emphasizes the fragility and beauty of the relationship we share with the environment we inhabit. Inviting reflection on the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world.
